1. What is the optimum resolution setting for my monitor?

An LCD monitor has a fixed number of pixels. If it receives a signal lower than its native resolution it must be scaled up in size through interpolation with an image scaler. For optimal performance the monitor should be run at its native resolution:

LCD monitors native resolution:

1024 by 768 for monitor size 15"
1280 by 1024 for monitor sizes: 17", 17.4", 18", 19"
1600 by 1280 for monitor sizes: 20.1" and larger

2. How do I contact AG Neovo Technical Support?

You may contact AG Neovo Technical Support by submitting your question through the contact page.

3. Where can I get the latest drivers that support Win NT/2000 and Win XP?

You can download the latest drivers from the download page.

4. The AG Neovo website does not show the specific driver for my monitor and operating system. What should I do?

For Windows 95 and higher you can use the plug and play drivers included with the operating system.

5. Is my monitor compatible with Macintosh computers?

Yes, all AG Neovo monitors are compatible with Macintosh computers through the VGA port or through the DVI port for those monitors with digital inputs.

You may need to obtain either a VGA to Mac adaptor or a DVI to ADC adaptor. There are no software drivers necessary for the Macintosh.

6. What is the proper care for cleaning for my monitor?

For AG Neovo monitors with exclusive NeoV Optical Glass Technology and the hardened glass exterior, you can use commercially available computer screen cleaners or optical lens cleaners e.g. for sunglasses and buff with a soft cloth. A damp cloth with mild soap can also be effective, but no abrasive cleaners. We also do not recommend frequent use of Ammonia based household cleaners as they may damage the optical coatings on the display.

For AG Neovo monitors without exclusive NeoV Optical Glass Technology, use only cleaning products specifically designed to clean LCD monitors and do not apply heavy pressure when cleaning the surface.

7. What is the one touch Auto-adjust function?

In analog mode running through the VGA port, the auto adjust function re-calibrates the to factory defaults and re-centers the image in the middle of the screen by controlling the scaling, comparing internal clocks to the input video and synchronization.

8. Why doesn't the one touch Auto-adjust work in DVI mode?

The auto adjust function is designed for analog mode running through the VGA port only. Digital inputs do not require this re-calibration.

9. Does my monitor support both NTSC and PAL video standards?

Yes. Models equipped with video-in feature (S-video, CVBS or Component video adaptors) will support both NTSC and PAL and other major video standards. For details, refer to product specification for each model located in your user manual.

10. How do I toggle between input signals with my AG Neovo TV-01 TV tuner?

For S-15V and M-15V, you can use the toggle switch on the AG Neovo TV-01 tuner's remote control to toggle between video and pc signals.

For all other models with video inputs, you will need to use the On Screen Display Menu (OSD) to select the input signal manually.

11. Is image burn-in permanent on LCD monitors?

No, unlike CRT monitors, image burn-in is not permanent on LCD monitors. Just turn the display off for an extended period until the image disappears. Screen savers can prevent this temporary burn-in effect.

Digital cameras take photos and store them in JPEG format according to camera industry standards. Digital Photo Frame is designed to show photos following the same industry standards. Some images, such as web images, scanned images, or photos in RAW format from professional cameras, are not stored according to camera industry standards and therefore cannot be correctly displayed on Digital photo Frame. Please use PC applications to convert such images into standard JPEG format for Digital photo Frame.
